Discover Malabrigo Seis Cabos at Sew Knit Craft Cambridge

At Sew Knit Craft Cambridge we have stocked Malabrigo Seis Cabos for a few years now, and it remains one of those yarns that many knitters and crocheters are delighted to discover when they visit us.

For anyone unfamiliar with Seis Cabos by Malabrigo it is a beautiful light worsted/double knitting weight, 100% merino wool with about 200 metres per skien. The name Seis Cabos mean "six plies" in Spanish, which is a great nod to the six plies that are tightly twisted to create the distinctive texture for Seis Cabos. This construction gives Seis Cabos its beautiful drape and stitch definition, making it ideal for a range of projects.

Seis Cabos and slightly different character from the other Malabrigo yarns that you may be familiar with. It is soft and light to work with, while still creating a nice structured fabric, making it ideal for garments, accessories and textures stitches.

One of the best things about having Seis Cabos in the shop is being able to introduce it to customers who may not have seen it before. It is often a less familiar yarn for even seasoned Malabrigo lovers. As with most yarns, it really benefits from being seen in person, allowing you to see Malabrigo's famous colour ways in depth across the six plies of Seis Cabos.

Our Malabrigo representative also shared with us recently that Sew Knit Craft is currently the only place in the UK stocking Seis Cabos in store, which explains why so many people have not yet had the opportunity to see it in person!

Whether you are local to Cambridge or visiting the city from further afield, Malabrigo Seis Cabos is worth a closer look! Find it in store at Sew Knit Craft or online.
