Beginner Crochet Course! 

Always wanted to learn to crochet but not sure where to start? This beginner friendly 4-week beginner course is designed to teach you the basics step by step in a small, supportive group. You’ll learn core crochet techniques, understand the difference between UK and US terms, explore different yarn types and build confidence each week as your skills grow. By the end of the course, you’ll be ready to start your own granny square blanket to continue independently at home.

What you’ll learn..

Week 1 - 15th April
Introduction to crochet basics, including yarn types, crochet terminology, how to hold your hook and yarn, chaining, and double crochet. You’ll also learn the difference between UK and US crochet terms.

Week 2-  22nd April
Build on your stitch basics and learn colour changing, treble crochet and how to make a magic ring.

Week 3 - 29th April
An introduction to granny squares, including how to read a crochet pattern and explore different granny square styles.

Week 4 - 6th May
Put your new skills into practice by starting a granny square blanket that you can continue independently after the course.
